SIG Annual Events -Planning on attending the PMI®
North American Global Congress, 21-24 October, 2006
in Seattle? Please be sure to stop by the WiPM SIG Annual
Membership Meeting on Saturday, 21 October or one of
the WiPM SIG networking events on Monday, 23 October.
Details will be distributed as we get closer to the dates.
The SIG Board will also hold several face-to-face board
meetings during this time; those meetings will focus on
review of the SIG's strategic plan and operational initiatives
for 2007.
Programs
& Education e-Mentoring Program Kick-off -
The e-mentoring program leadership team was formed recently
with the help of six fantastic WiPM volunteer members. The
team is led by Manjula Rajaram under the Board directorship
of Marianne West. This very dedicated team is currently
in the planning stage which is expected to continue till
the end of December with a launch slated for early January.
At this time the committee is still seeking volunteers to
serve as mentoring team coaches. For more information, contact
mentoringprogram@wipmsig.org.
During the next few months there will be communication seeking
mentors and mentees who will be interested to participate
in the program.
International
PM Day - The PMI® New
Jersey Chapter is sponsoring an International Project
Management Day Celebration on 2 November 2006. This
event will celebrate project management while extending
participants' knowledge, skills and personal networks. Learn
